Hi – That’s Me! Nice to meet you!

Hi, I’m Megan! Welcome to the
‘For the Love of Gifting’ blog…
let me share a little about myself.

I’m married to a fabulous guy, Brett, we have been blessed with two wonderful girls, Tatum & Marin, and we have a chocolate labradoodle (our protector) Ryder. We originally hail from Ohio and are proud University of Dayton grads; however, nine years ago we packed up our stuff and headed south for Louisville, KY which we now proudly call home.

While our days are action packed between work, family, friends, and anything else we can squeeze into a 24 hour period I’m pretty sure we wouldn’t change a thing. Okay, if I could change one thing it would be that my fluffy, not a bit scary, dog would ease up on the barking! I digress…

So…enough about me, let’s talk about this blog. What is it? Why write it? What’s the point? Well here is the scoop – one of my favorite things to do is to gift…I love to give gifts way more than receiving and I’m constantly trying to think of creative ideas for family, friends, kids, teachers, husbands, parents, grandparents, coworkers, the list continues. For roughly 8 years I worked in the gift card space – no, not greeting cards – actual gift cards the kind you put money on. I’m sure you have some sitting in your wallet as we speak. We created some truly unique experiences in the gifting space so while this blog is NOT just about gift cards I think it’s important to know that I have thought about gifting for MANY years.

Why do I want to write a blog about gifting – it’s simple. I think of all kinds of ideas and I write them down on a piece of paper or make a note on my iPhone and then when the time comes to get something special I totally forget all of my ideas. Ugh! So frustrating, so I do what any normal person does I Google it. Or I look up ideas on Pinterest. Well, all of those years of research will now have a home and I hope it helps you as much as it will help me.

For the love of gifting…its not the about the money that is spent it’s about the love or appreciation that we hope to share. Happy gifting…
